Summary Johann Johannsson, known for the film scores of Sicario and The Theory of Everything, releases his DG debut album, his first studio album in six years. The album is a melancholic, yet optimistic musical journey inspired by the Orpheus myth. Johannsson's score captures many facets of his previous works including intimate string quartet pieces, large string orchestra works, electronics, drones, organ, piano, choir, as well as enigmatic shortwave broadcasts to create an evocative & immersive sound
