Summary |
A homosexual is bashed in a toilet block and taken for a nightmare car ride while his lover is interstate. While this serves as a harsh introduction to the film, within the narrative it becomes a divisive incident in the two lover's relationship as they begin to question each other's committment. The second half of the film is quiet and often poignant where the first covered a gay party in the glittering city and its aftermath, the bashing. Thus it becomes not only a film about homosexual assaults and homophobia but also about promiscuity and relationships in the era of AIDS |
