Series Mythbusters (Television program)
Summary "Roger Clemens, perhaps baseball's greatest living pitcher, joins the gang to take on the national pastime as only the Mythbusters can. The Mythbusters team tests a few baseball-related myths. Does a corked bat hit balls farther? Jamie and Adam use a cannon they've already built for a previous episode to shoot the balls at 80 miles an hour, and a swinging robot Grant built for another episode to swing the bat at Adam's speed, which is about 60 miles an hour. The test proves that the ball leaves a corked bat at half the speed as off a regulation bat. Myth busted. Does a humid baseball fly shorter than a dry one? (From the US, in English)" -- website
