Botswana has a strong reputation for conservation - and the country has turned to its rich wildlife to boost its GDP. Second to the diamond industry today, eco-tourism is now a flourishing business in Botswana. FACE TIME: JASON BRANTLEY, MANAGING DIRECTOR, SUB SAHARAN AFRICA, JOHN DEERE. Food insecurity is a concern across many parts of Africa. U-S agricultural and construction manufacturing company, John Deere, started operations on the continent in 1963. Jason Brantley believes the company's footprint in Africa plays a role in addressing that issue. Brantley is John Deere's managing director for sub-Saharan Africa.
