Summary "In the middle of the 1930s, Walt Disney undertook a long journey across Europe from which he returned with hundreds of illustrated books and engravings. A treasure trove that would be a major source of inspiration for his subsequent animated features. The film relates Walt Disney's artistic journey and the joyous clash between high culture and popular culture, in which Gustave Doré, Daumier and Rembrandt play peek-a-boo with Snow White, Pinocchio and the Sleeping Beauty. With a tone and a rhythm taken from cartoons, the story unfolds as an investigation within Disney's mind itself, blending specialist interviews, animated 3D sequences, and archives, along with clips from Disney's most famous works such as Snow White, Cinderella, Fantasia, Bambi, Dumbo, etc. (From France, in English and French, English subtitles)" -- SBS website
