Summary The purpose of this interactive course is to present an anatomical and biomechanical basis for various rehabilitation programs and strategies used in elbow rehabilitation. Once a foundation in normal anatomy and biomechanics is established, the course outlines pathomechanics and predictable rehabilitation challenges that the clinician will face during assessment and treatment of elbow disorders. Fracture patterns reviewed include the distal humeral, radial head and Monteggia injuries. Strategies for managing stiffness are offered. These include, bracing, splinting and drop out casting for mobility, joint mobilizations, therapeutic activities and exercise regimens. Physical agent interventions are also presented. Soft tissue injuries reviewed include medial and lateral collateral ligament injuries, biceps tendon rupture, epicondylitis and nerve compression syndromes. Conservative assessment and treatment of these conditions is presented. Surgical management is presented including intra-operative photos and schematics are used to demonstrate surgical approaches. Post-operative treatment plans and protocols are also presented
