Summary |
This new four-part 'behind-the-scenes' series focuses on four Australian fashion designers and just what it takes to make it in the often fickle world of fashion. From Sydney to Tokyo, Paris and New York, this series explores the working lives of Peter Morrissey, Willow, Lover and Akira Isogowa, revealing how they turn creative inspiration into commercial success. From the birth of ideas through to their inception, implementation and then to a completed fashion collection; this series follows each designer on this exciting and challenging path. Nic Briand and Susien Chong of the label Lover make every effort to exist on the fashion fringe. This episode takes a look at their reluctant rise to fashion fame; from humble beginnings at Bondi Markets to the fashion pages of US Vogue, it explores the dynamic relationship between this creative duo.
