Marsden and Flower was a firm of general merchants in Sydney until Marsden died in 1841 and his partner Phillip William Flower was joined by Severin Kanute Salting and John Henry Challis in the new firm of Flower Saltin and Co. A counterpart firm, P.W. Flower and Co. was established in England at the same time. The London firm, in 1844, were the largest importers of Australian wool in Great Britain |
