Summary |
A young woman from the modern world enters a primeval society. A cave-dwelling tribe is living in a time warp. An encounter between the present and the past shatters decades of tranquility. What changes will this bring to the fate of the cave village? Deep in the remote mountains, a young lady leaves her job in the city to help the cave-dwelling children living a primitive life at Guiyang City in southwest part of China. She volunteers to be a schoolteacher at the only school in the area for some children of China's Miao ethnic minority. An inspiring story of selfless sacrifice and dedication to a higher ideal, she lives in the cave with them, enduring the same hardships, to bring a glimmer of hope and knowledge to young lives cut-off from the modern world |
