Summary The Strategic Inter-Governmental forum on Physical Activity and Health (SIGPAH) has identified the area of transport as a high-priority setting to promote physical activity. SIGPAH agreed to pilot the framework approach to develop a portfolio of interventions to address this issue. This report is a case study in applying the portfolio approach. The project involved collaboration between the NPHP and SIGPAH to define interventions likely to be effective in promoting 'active transport'
