Summary |
On loan: "On her 14th birthday party Lindy wishes she knew her actual birth date. Her real parents would know, but they are dead, or so Lindy and her adoptive Australian family believe. A letter arrives from Thailand, from her natural father, Le. He is coming to see her and she must make a painful choice" |

Room To Move: "Carol is a top runner, coached by her father day and night. Then she sees angie, the punk new girl, dancing magnificently and alone. The two become friends, eating hamburgers at "The Armpit", where Angie has to work after school. They give each other lots of support and do things that Carol has only dreamed of. She begins to rebel and plan a new life for herself. But, the all - important race is coming up - and Carol has to give all she's got" |
