Notes "About Men is a documentary series that explores the major life stages, transitions and experiences of boys and men living in Australia. In these rapidly changing times, this series looks at what it means to be a man in the 21st Century. Key issues effecting men are explored by asking a number of crucial questions: How does a boy become a man?; How does a man define his masculinity?; What does he need to thrive and survive; and what are the obstacles in his way? The three episodes use a broad cross section of participants to chart the major life stages in a male’s life. The boys and men who appear in the series have compelling stories to tell about their development, maturation and wisdom - giving meaning to the powerful themes that underpin the series. Their stories are genuinely moving, funny, surprising and informative." -- Program website
