"The 'National Clinical Guidelines for the Management of Drug Use during Pregnancy, Birth and the Early Development Years of the Newborn' was endorsed by the Ministerial Council on Drug Strategy out of session on 2 December 2005. The 'Guidelines' and companion 'Background papers' were prepared for the Intergovernmental Committee on Drugs by NSW Health and SA Health with the funding and support of Australian federal, State and Territory governments, as well as the New Zealand Government, under the Ministerial Council on Drug Strategy Cost Shared Funding Model. The project was completed under the guidance of a Steering Committee and two expert workshops."--Preliminary screen
