The City of Detroit has partnered with a Canadian company to try and make their intersections more efficient and safe. "Smart intersections" are a growing trend and can now be found in more than 100 cities around the world. They connect traffic signals with remote monitoring to pinpoint areas where traffic-related fatalities and injuries can be reduced
