The Parents Guide explores what is going on in schools today and discusses some of the key issues from a parent's point of view. In this programme, presenter Fiona Millar and two parents, together with education consultant Bill Davies, discuss how English and maths are being taught in primary schools. They look at some Teachers TV programmes and see how the subjects are changing, with new challenges for teachers, pupils and of course, parents.
