Pendant 3 ans, Laurent Cibien a suivi le travail de création de la "Maison de Bernarda Alba" de Federico Garcia Lorca, initié par la metteur en scène Natascha Rudolf avec un groupe de femmes du comité de Morsang/Orge (Essonne) du Secours Populaire Français. Des femmes de toutes origines, de toutes conditions sociales, bénévoles et bénéficiaires confondues, de tous âges - l'aînée a 85 ans. Certaines ne savaient ni lire, ni écrire. Toutes se sont confrontées aux règles, aux enjeux, aux difficultés du théâtre, les frontières se sont déplacées, le groupe s'est transformé. Un film en trois actes (répétitions, représentations, tournée) plein de joie et d'optimisme qui montre, comme l'une des comédiennes, que si le théâtre, ça ne résout pas les problèmes, "ça adoucit la vie" |

For 3 years, Laurent Cibien followed the creative work of the "Maison de Bernarda Alba" by Federico Garcia Lorca, initiated by the director Natascha Rudolf with a group of women from the Morsang/Orge (Essonne) committee of the Secours Populaire French. Women of all origins, of all social conditions, volunteers and beneficiaries alike, of all ages - the eldest is 85 years old. Some could neither read nor write. All were confronted with the rules, the stakes, the difficulties of the theater, the borders moved, the group was transformed. A film in three acts (rehearsals, performances, tour) full of joy and optimism which shows, like one of the actresses, that if the theater does not solve problems, "it sweetens life" |
