Summary Narrated by Alan Brough (Spicks & Specks), Wild Life at the Zoo is a fly-on-the-wall look into the workings of one of the world's most renowned zoos, Taronga - home to 340 species and 3,400 animals across 52 acres of prime real estate on the shores of Sydney Harbour. In tonight's final episode: BIRD SHOWKeepers take us 'backstage' to Taronga's bird show and it's here we learn that in show business, things don't always go to plan. Pez, the zoo's young Australian Hobby goes missing during his bird show. Keepers set out armed with their trackers but as night descends over the harbour, they have no choice but to abandon their bird for the night. Will Pez be found? Meanwhile keeper Felicity is training two young Major Mitchell birds - Mr Big and Bounce - to star in the zoo show. GREEN TURTLEA gravely ill 50-year-old Green turtle is brought to Taronga Zoo to be nursed back to health. After much love and tender care it is released back into the wild, along with a satellite tracking device so it will help to give the zoo an insight into the migratory patterns of these endangered sea creatures.LITTLE PENGUINS40 Little Penguins are sent to German zoos to ensure that there is a breeding population outside of the Southern Hemisphere. The Little Penguins are bred at Tarongo Zoo where we follow them from their birth to a pre-flight check up.PRODUCTION DETAILS:Imagination TV
