In 2010 Russia announced an embargo on the export of Russian wheat. As a result, Bunge SA, a large agribusiness based in Switzerland terminated its contract with Nidera BA, a Dutch agribusiness for a shipment of Russia grain. The case examines whether Bunge SA committed an anticipatory breach of the contract by cancelling the sale of Russian grain to Nidera BA
