Expert presenters also head to the oil-fields of Alaska, round up reindeer with the Swedish Sami, and reveal what it takes to keep a Russian icebreaker afloat. Throughout it all, the bears battle to survive. What happens if the ice continues to melt? And what wider implications does this have for us all?
