Summary |
Fenella visits Victoria's equivalent of Sydney's Sculpture by the sea - the Lorne Sculpture Prize which started in 2007 along the picturesque Great Ocean Road.We explore the highly individual sculptures of Kathy Temin which have a hand-made, tactile quality to them, while also embracing the darker ideas of identity, place and memory. We visit TarraWarra Museum of Art to take in the work of painter William Delafield Cook. Whose hyper real images of Australian landscape are on display in the first survey exhibition of his work in over two decades. In our segment Golden Years, celebrating the work of older artists, we look at the career of actor Paris trained Australian couturier Robert Fritzlaff. And we hear music by singer-songwriter Gotye in a film clip that features the body painting of artist Emma Hack who'll be the featuring on Art Nation next week |
