The successful management and treatment of syndesmosis ankle sprains is dependent on the proper diagnosis of the injury, as well as the careful and comprehensive rehabilitation of the ankle sprain. Treatment and Rehabilitation of the High Ankle Sprain provides information to aid athletic trainers and to further develop their differential diagnosis skills as they relate to syndesmosis ankle sprains. The video also examines the broad course of rehabilitation necessary to enhance recovery from these ankle injuries. The video gives special attention to the importance of proprioception and functional training in order to return patients to full activity
