Gourmet Farmer ; Series 3, Episode 7 |
Summary |
When former food critic, Matthew Evans, swapped his city life to have a go at small farm living in Tasmania, he really put to the test his primary belief that people should be directly connected with their food: either by growing it, rearing it, or sourcing it from local producers.Matthew has now moved to his new farm, Fat Pig Farm, and the series follows Matthew, Sadie and little Hedley as they take on the challenge of making their new property work.Nick has bought himself a wine fermenter and is hoping to enlist both Matthew and Ross to make a barrel of their own vintage. The three boys go on a Cellar Door road trip around the Tamar Valley, researching both wine varieties and wine making...also in an attempt to secure enough grapes for a barrel.
