Summary In 2011, U.S. households experienced about 3,394,700 burglary victimizations. Persons age 12 or older who had disabilities experienced 1.3 million nonfatal violent crimes in 2012. Nonfatal violent crimes include rape, sexual assault, robbery, aggravated assault, and simple assault. In 2012, an estimated 293,800 nonfatal violent and property hate crime victimizations occurred against persons age 12 or older residing in U.S. households.
