Miss Marple: Special: A Caribbean Mystery |
Summary |
Joan Hickson is back as Miss Marple who is holidaying in Barbados, courtesy of her generous nephew. Ever-alert, she spends her first day at the Golden Palm Hotel taking stock of her fellow guests, who range from eccentric millionaire Jason Rafiel to the resident hotel bore, Major Palgrave. When the Major is found dead in his room, Miss Marple is the only one to suspect foul play. Soon more deaths follow and she knows that it is vital for her to crack the case. Miss Marple is finding her luxury holiday in Barbados sadly rather dull. Then Major Palgrave is found dead and once more she is back in her element. Everyone else accepts that he died of natural causes. But with so many weird and wonderful characters lurking in and around the hotel, it seems that even she will have difficulty pointing the local police in the right direction |
