Based on his own experience as a political prisoner in Colombia, Miguel Angel Beltrán Villegas collects testimonies from various protagonists of the conflict between state forces, paramilitaries, and members of guerrilla organizations. The contrasts between his life stories and a series of documents and moments in Colombian history allow us to review the ways in which individual and collective identities and trajectories are constructed
